Busy Weekend
Antijazz had a busy weekend, kicking off on Friday, Jan. 26th with a set at Cafe Brasil. The highlight of the set was closing with Bill Frisell's "Strange Meeting," which featured the wailing twin trumpets of David Dunbar and Scott Frott. Tad Mondale of Washington, DC's "La Monster" also sat in with us on trombone. We had two gigs on Saturday, Jan. 27th. We started with a laid-back set at an art opening for Galerie Lafitte, followed by another show at Cafe Brasil, opening for DJ Davis' All That. Japanese saxaphonist Shu sat in with us and blew some tasty bebop lines on his tenor sax.

A Busy Week
Antijazz played El Matador on Thursday, Jan 11, then at Cafe Brasil on Friday the 12th. Antijazz also appeared on WWOZ's "New Orleans Music Show" with DJ Davis on the Thursday afternoon of the Matador gig; we were also added to the playlist at WTUL.
